Insurance Carrier: Md Medicare Choice
State: Florida

Consumer Complaint:

I carry Medicare Advantage insurance from MD Medicare Choice. This insurance company has failed to settle the bill from the University Community Hospital for my hospitalization for the period 03/07/2008 to 03/10/2008 even after the University Community Hospital adjusted their bill for $20,298.29 down to $4,374.72 after making adjustments for -$15,923.57! I have called MD Medicare Choice many times, and have also sent a written complaint to them.


Insurance Expert Answer:

Write a letter direct to the President of the insurance company. Be polite, explain what the issue is very simply, attach one or two documents to support your request, and ask his or her help in correcting the problem.
