When I buy an additional car, Is it automatically covered by my car insurance policy?


No. You should notify the insurance company as soon as possible. It is usually advisable to talk to your agent and get an estimate of the price of the new coverage before finalizing the purchase of the car. The price of the insurance could be a factor choosing any new vehicle.
