Question 11 of 17 in How Rates Are Determined

Can my auto insurance be increased because I received a speeding ticket for driving 85 mph on an interstate highway?

Probably. Speeding tickets are one of the things that can cause an insurance company to increase your premium. Of course, the company will probably consider how long you have been insured by them and your previous driving record before deciding to increase your premium.
