Question 10 of 13 in Group Or Employer Policies?

Our company's policy has a convertible provision that permits me to convert the company's group coverage to an individual policy when I leave. However, The individual policy is watered down with weaker coverage. Should I take it or look for another?

If you are able to qualify for new insurance, buy your own plan. If you have medical problems that may preclude you from getting other coverage, take the conversion plan.
