I'm a freelancer and self-employed. Can I get disability income insurance?


Probably. It depends on what type of work you do. Some occupations are more acceptable for disability coverage than others. You need to have a demonstrated history of earning capacity from this occupation. If you cannot, there would be nothing to insure.
