Do plans offer unlimited lifetime benefits?


Yes. Benefits may be payable for lifetime. They may also be limited to five, three, or even two years. Alternatively, the maximum benefit might be expressed in dollars. For example, a maximum benefit of $73,000 would be similar to a two-year maximum benefit of $100 per day.
