What is coverage for medical evacuation or repatriation? |

Medical evacuation benefits provide for transportation to a medical facility that can provide appropriate care in the event of serious injury or sickness that cannot be adequately dealt with at the location where the illness or accident took place.
Medical repatriation benefits come into play when physicians deem it medically necessary for you to be returned to your home or to a hospital or other medical facility near your home. Transportation and possibly some related costs are likely to be covered. |
