"Policy had the wrong year for my house. It was only off by a year, but it was like I had to go thru hoops for them to change it (they never did). It may have been due to my agent (as you have to go thru and agent) and you do not have direct contact with the company. I prefer direct contact -- so I just switched to Peoples Trust (FL.only). "Unreliable, First the information they give to the adjuster to give me an estimate was incorrect it took over 2 weeks for me to keep calling to see what the delay was. Then when they came the adjusters did the report and submitted and ended up getting lost another 3 weeks. Finally the estimate the ins.company provide was peanuts of what the actual damage was. What a rip-off. This company has one of the HIGHEST COMPLAINTS addressed in the State of Florida. (Look it up yourself)Dept of Insurance. Not Reliable sorry. "Taking a ridiculous amount of time to resolve a claim; will not pay rental car, they "reimburse you"...but ONLY up until they make thier first stupidly underpriced offer. They know you cannot accept it, but because they have made it, they stop coverage period for rental reimbursent. One week later, reach an agreement, wait for check. Three weeks later, still no check, and Im out the extra three weeks rental. Do NOT do business with this company...Geico, Progressive, Allstate, etc have you reimbursed and set to go within DAYS...I hope I never get hit by someone that is stupid enough to have Northern Capital Insurance." 2009-10-27 10:44:02 EST |
