"My family has had PEMCO Insurance for about 17 years. We have had no claims and no tickets. We have weathered all of the rate increases because we THOUGHT we were paying for service. This yaer was the first year that we filed a claim, as you can probably guess, it was denied. I will be cancelling my policy and possibly taking them to court. I DO NOT recomend them unless you would like to pay high premiums for many years, file a claim and also be denied. "

"i've had pemco since 1995 and every year my rates have gone up.they keep telling me about all the discounts i'm getting and my rates still go up.this year it was too much,i called an took the knife to my policy and trimmed about $400 off.i then told them that if my rates go up 1 cent next year ,they are fired. i'm retired and have no accidents or tickets.also i dont drive much.ihad broadform before pemco and i may have it again."

"They jacked up my rate by 13 percent after the first year. I did not file any calaims, so I ask them why?
Their answer boils down so "because we can". They also claimed labour costs went up. And this is in 2009 when economy is in bad shape.
I belive the quote low price to lure, and count on inertia. Beware."

"I'm another one into the list of people completely dissapointed with Pemco rates. 2 yrs no accident and they sent my new policy with a Forty percent (40%) increase, unbelievable. Reading the comments here I will not spend the 25 cents to make a call and ask why because I will get a silly or stupid answer.
pemco, good bye! in this economy I hope you survive by having this excellent loyalty recognition program, you are loyal and they will increase your premium"
