"My father had life insurance through Primerica and he passed in October 2006. I tried to make a claim and they told me that he had stopped making payments, which was a lie because it was automatically coming from his checking account. My father was making 250,000 a year. I still have not received any word from them, but I do have an attorney from New York that is handling my case. I have all the documentation that I need and feel that justice will be served."

"After 18 years of making payments to Primerica, they stopped providing statements to me for quarterly billing. Upon my investigation with them they told me I was dropped due to lack of payment. I never received any notification of my account being late or dropped. I submitted applications to be reinstated. Primerica will but at almost 3 times what my original quarterly amount. Primerica stated the rate chage was due the use of tobacco products. Hey, this is LIFE insurance NOT HEALTH insurance. These people knew that I was going to die sooner or later when I signed up wit them in 1989. I hoestly believe this is a coorporate policy to drop older accounts. I dearly like to know what Primerica's track record is in this area.

"Primerica has a superior A+ rating everywhere you go. It has the best renewal rates and best products. As the company advertisement is based on word of mouth of course there are going to be personality and lacking information opinion clashes. If you base your decisions on other people's opinions (and they may not be doing much better of than you are), recap your outlook on life and experience it yourself for real, before giving the wrong advice to others. You will find a lot of complaints, but what did you find so credible about google to bet your life on that everything there is true? The bigger the company, the more complaints there are going to be. It's plain common sense."

"I have had a wonderful experience with Primerica and would just like to address the individual above who complained about being dropped due to non-payment and then had a rate increase upon reinstating the policy. It is not simply because Primerica is difficult that this happened to you, it is the LAW. Once payment hasn't been received after the grace period you are automatically dropped, which is stated in the policy you signed. It also states that when the policy lapses or the time period is up, you will be reaccessed at your attained age (the age and health condition you are when re-applying for the insurance). All insurance companies are required to operate this way, with subtle changes depending on the state you live in. "

"1) Takes a long time to process an application when I added my husband
2) Computer database is hard to accept name change, ignores it and comes back again as if nothing has happend. I'll show you a proof.
3) Wont tell you if an application has been denied or not.
4) Agent commnts its hard to reach them for an update or request
5) Nobody from Primerica calls to verify or ask any info if filled up or done incorectly. Nobody cares about an application or name change. Sucks.
6) I would love to fill out any customer satisfaction survey from them, but there isnt any."

"After 9/11 did anybody know that Primerica was the only insurance company that paid every single death claim.
Technically by law insurance companies don't have to pay claims for insureds that die as a result of war. This falls into one of the four major parts of the insurance policy under the exclusion. The specific exclusion is referred to as War Exclusion. Unfortunately 9/11 was declared an act of war, which meant insurance companies didn't have to pay the death claims of those who were insured and lost their lives in the 9/11 disaster. However though as I said in the beginning, Primerica paid every single death claim. This is not to say that other insurance companies didn't pay any death claims. For those who don't know, the reason why War can void a clients contract if he/she dies in one is because generally in war there are a high number of casualties and having too many casualties could result in a insurance company possibly having to go out of business."

"The Policy I have is Term Life.. I'm now 70 years old. I got a letter stating that the rider for me will be dropped after all the years I've been with them. "Joined the company in 1986. got uot. bought a policyfor family of 5, 20 year term and had to renew at the end of that term. premiums almost tripled. of course due to age and yes, it is a term policy. I knew that going into it. to keep my 50,000, could only afford the 10 yr term. so when I hit my late 60's, it will be more!!!! not putting away the so called savings as they say to do. Probably get what my parents have, at $80 month for a lousy 5,000 just for burial.

"Primerica has a great program that works. If you only follow half of the program then it only works half of the way. Buy term and invest the difference is strong and out performs most if not all wholelife policies. What is not mentioned in here is that Primerica does not advocate having life insurance for your entire life. You only need it while you are saving up your retirement. When Primerica started it was meant to replace whole life policies that offered lame at best cash value. You were supposed to then invest the difference into one or more of the family of funds (8% to 12%)that they offer the most of the time (95% or better) out performed the return of cash value in the whole life policy(3%). "

"Educated me very well on the pitfalls of whole life. Whole life is the biggest scam on earth. I wasted alot of money I'll never get back by paying into whole life. I went with Primerica for logical reasons. They only advertise by word of mouth. And to be the #1 insurance company in the business by only word of mouth, they must be doing the right thing for their customers if they can be number one on referrals only. Thanks to Primerica, I'll now be debt free in 8 years instead of 30."

They were kind and helpful and didn't take it personal that we needed them to work with us when our financial situation took a turn for the worse. for them to get a promotiontto sell this
insurance they have to get 3 contacts and
sell 3000 points/dollars worth of insurance
and have 3 people under them to get ahead.
This insurance company recruits people by
word of mouth in order for the privacy of
the selling technique not to be cold calling.
After reading the reviews it appears to us
that this company is a big scam, and a
molding the pyramid sceme. The video's they
play to enhance the company and join as an agent are not professional."

No matter what company or industry, there will be flakes you deal with, but we have been very pleased with our experience. If you are going to "research" a company or anything, Google and the internet are not the best place for accurate references. Some guy in Montana in his underwear complaining online about a company on his website isn't that truthful."

"My wife and I make a comfortable 6 figure income. Although we make this, we were still in debt. I would say more so than most other people. Someone from Primerica came and sat down with us about 7 years ago. Today, we have paid off all of our debt with the exception of about 42,550 on our home. We were hitting almost 289,000 in debt. If Primerica would not have come in we would have been lost. On top of that, we were paying on a life policy that is now cut in half with triple the coverage. I see most of the comments about Primerica and I know that there is one thing they all have in common. Those people are basing their opinion on most false information. I owe my agent my life and he is now a great friend of mine.

"The agent had me cash in old dividend paying whole life policies to buy their term life insurance and "invest" the difference.
