Comments "I have been overcharged by Nationwide for nearly 20 years. Unfortunately and because my home insurance like so many others is tied into my mortgage payment it was laziness on my part not to check each and every year how their premium increased. However, I was hit between the eyes when this present year, I received a letter from Nationwide that they were raising my premium from 2500 to 4500 per year. This is just unconscienable and will pretty nearly put me out of my home. I have been looking into other insurance companies and find that I have been overcharged by approximately 1,000 each year on the exact same coverage. By the way, I never had a claim. "Home owners kept going up until I canceled it due to very high price and my agent called back and said if I stayed with nationwide she could get me a 30% discount. I was with this company 10 years" 2009-11-05 01:49:43 EST
"I have had insurance with Nationwide for 35 years. I received a notice recently telling me they are cancelling my homeowners insurance. I have had one claim in all those years. All the money I have paid them and you see what you get." 2009-11-03 18:07:27 EST
"I had a woman back into me in a store lot. I had a passenger for a witness and the lady who hit me had a bag boy that she knew who claimed to have seen it and said I hit her. My car was already moving forward when she hit me. mI had to pay the lady because of her friends statment. Nationwide would not go to the accident scene and would do nothing to leave their desk. I pay themm $2200.00 a year and they treated me like a stinking wet bag of crap. In my 43 years of life this is the worse customer service I have ever had in my life. If they try to sell you insurance, run, run very fast." 2009-11-03 15:19:19 EST
