"my wife was rear ended at a stop sign,no fault of her own,nationwide was on both sides of the claim, adjuster played the 'delay' game once we ready to settle and would not return phone calls even AFTER we called our agent AND her boss 3 times!!! we felt offended by lame excuses and suggestions from adjuster's regional supervisor that my wife 'could be lying' about her injuries.we are currently shopping our 5 policies i can tell you 'NATONWIDE WAS NOT ON OUR SIDE!'"

"tornado claim: Adjuster told me I had to pay two deductibles - one for the outside damage and one for the inside damage, all for the same tornado - inside damage has never been fixed, and they just don't care. They told me they don't like people with $250 deductibles. How about that?
Hail damage claim: paid for damaged vents on roof, builders (3 different ones) all said there is significant damage and Nationwide keeps denying it. Last time adjuster was to meet with my contractor at 11:30 in the morning, he showed up at 3 pm, claimed he was tied up, went on the roof for 2 minutes, came down and said "that roof isn't leaking, it has two layers of singles." He went in his truck and took a pre-printed denial letter off the seat and gave it to me. (My roof has only one layer of shingles) Very poor service!!!"
