Company History: The Viking Insurance Company of Wisconsin was incorporated in 1971 and adopted its current name in 1973. It became a part of the Sentry group of companies when it was purchased in 2005 by Sentry Insurance, a mutual insurance company. "They are represented by independant agents that charge unscruprulous commisions. They are trying to collect upon a policy 'paid-in-full' (for one year)by adjusting their rate after the policy was in-force for at least one month. I called them and received no satisfaction and they refuse to refundany monies so I may search for 'egitimate' insurance elsewhere. "

"They state on their website and on their identification cards that they are open 24/7-365 to file claims but they are not they are only open Monday through Friday 8-4:30 central time which is not very convenient when most people work during those hours. Then they raise your payments after a year with them and give you a lame response and no specifics for the increase."
