"We paid $469/month for the coverage. We paid extra for maternity coverage, since we were trying to have a baby. After, receiving the actual policy in the mail 2 weeks later, I discovered that the maternity deductle was $10,000. Meaning they pay nothing, we pay for everything. When they sold they insurance to us, they said that my husbands antiseizure medication & annaul doctor vistit to the neurologist would be covered since we paid extra for doctor copay & prescription copay. LIE!!! They forgot to tell us that they would not cover him, until we paid for the insurance for 1 full year. I feel like this company uses sneaky sales people to trick people into buying something that they really are not buying. They just want to make money. We canceled after 6 weeks. "

"After 2 ct scans and 1 MRI I think Assurant paid a total of 2% and I think that just covered the clinic fees. There are better companies find them you will be doing yourself a favor."

"I would have been better off putting the money for the insurance premiums in the bank and paying for my own medical costs. They have paid for virtually nothing on preventative care and emergency room visits, yet every year they raise my premium rate and my deductible. I think this company is criminal."
