"The representative sold my elderly mother a variable annuity and misrepresented what the policy would pay upon her death. When she passed away at age 93, I was expecting $16,000 more that what the policy paid. I was very disappointed in him. He said he wasn't aware of it - shouldn't the reps know the products they sell??"

"My retirement fund is though american skandia. I keep trying to get my company to change to another retirement option, because A/S seems to be very expensive as far as their ongoing fees and such. I am getting a fairly good return on my funds, but feel like the charges are too high."
