Western Reserve Life Reviews and Customer Comments
"The FFIUL is great. You have insurance cash accumulation with potential growth up to 15% minimum growth .75% plus there is a long term care rider. you don not need a stand alone long term care insurance"
"I signed up with WRL through a very close friend I asked to be signed off for the same plan he had and same amount. He then asked his mom who also was a agent with WRL to close the contract so she can get the commission. His mom send us a contract very different than the one we agreed on without telling us. We asked for a whole life insurance and she gave us a contract with a mix of riders. We were not familiar with the terminology and we signed without knowing. After four months we saw her and asked her for explanation and then we realized we are in different contract. I asked her to cancel our policy right a way and sign us for a new contract the one we wanted initially. She said you stay in this contract for 13 months and then she will fix everything with no extra charge. After 13 months that she needed to make her full commission we realized she cannot change anything until 3 years after the sign up date. We canceled right a way after realizing its more loss trusting these agent and listening to their empty promises. Definitely some crooks are running the company and they only care about their commission and have no sense of ethics. We should have been smart about it and not trusting friends. This life lesson cost us 7000. Do Not Trust Your Friends. "
"I can see how my cash value grow within 2 yrs.since I have my policy."
"Everybody here who has not received their policy Please be advised that per code you have 30 days from the time you received your policy to cancel. If you have a problem with the company before those 30 days are up get rid of themdon't just post an angry message. It is the law. "
"Fixed Index vs Variable. When it comes down to it it falls on the agents the consumer. Ask questions voice concerns be fully aware of what you're investing in. If you have money to invest can stomach the massive gains and vice versa go with variable accounts. If you want to "put all of your eggs in one basket" go with the sure thing Fixed Index GUARANTEE."
