"Over 20 years with CSAA. I have my current auto for 14 years and the rates have gone up in the past several years so I'm paying as much now as I did 14 years ago. Yes I know there's inflation but this is ridiculous. They're annual credit they give to you (for the previous year) has been dropping significantly. I just bought a new car so I'm shopping around for a better deal."

"I was rear-ended with substantial frame damage. Their approved body shop estimated the repairs to cost $6000. The bluebook on my Echo is $7,500 and as there are no safety tests on rebuilt frames I don't want to keep the car. They are dragging their feet and so far are unwilling to even settle for the $6k they would spend to fix it. Which is why I'm looking for an alternative for the new car that I will be driving soon."

"CSAA has started acting just like all the other insurance companies out there. There is no longer any customer service, no agents, and they try to make you take a repair that you do not feel comfortable with.
My wife and I have collectively been with CSAA for well over 25 years, and this will be the last year. They charge you more money for the insurance and customer service that they do not provide."

"Their cost cutting measures have made doing business with them exceptionally hard. To get documents to and from them takes multiple faxes as apparently a number of them go astray into the bowels of this organization. Customer service is basically non existent except in verbage."
