"I wish my agent continued to deal with them, I have been placed with Adirondak Insurance and am not happy about it." 2007-07-03 19:28:38 EST
"A fire swept through my apartment building and the company claim rep did not respond for 2 days. When he finally did, he was adversarial... he didn't inform me of my rights, offered no guidance and challenged me every step of the way. " 2008-04-22 00:03:23 EST
"A very bad fire swept through my home on the coldest day of the year. The rep came out the following day to speak to us and did not provide us with any info that was very useful. We were in shock and did not know what to do. My instincts told my I had better get a lawyer. Right away it became evident that that was absolutely the correct thing to do. One Beacon challanged me every step of the way. The rep I had ignored every e-mail and phone call I made. He only responded when I contacted his supervisor and had my lawyer get involved. I might also add that I had an expensive policy that covered everything for over 18 years. I was never late with my premium payments and had never filed a claim before this one. I took over a year to get back into my home. I am now with a new company and I have never had to write comments like this about any company I have done business with. " 2009-02-16 11:29:18 EST
"I had a pipe break in my basement that damages all of the furniture and left a flood of 4 inches of water, Adirondack (owned by ONEBEACON) sent a clean up crew that afternoon (it was a Saturday). It took a while for me to get bills and reciepts for the destroyed items but i got a check 3 days later. " 2009-05-29 12:09:39 EST
"Very unprofessional and "snake" like." 2009-06-03 19:45:24 EST
"One Beacon does not take care of their customers.
They are more expensive than most other companies.
They do not keep their customers informed in the event of an accident." 2009-07-22 20:59:51 EST |
