"The information on their website is WRONG and so when you try to find a provider or facility, you end up wasting hours!! Also, they are expensive for not great coverage!"

"reviewed their in network list of providers when looking for a specialist. called to confirm that specialist was in network. went for appointment and was told to return in five days for a colonoscopy. later I recieved a bill for out of network service after calling UHC I was told that the physician they referred me to was in network but his office was not total bill to me just over 1000.00 they paid under 200.00 my maximum in network expense should have been no mere than 500. I used their list and even called UHC before going they even provided the address I should go to. My regular physician has told me that every claim he files for me even a regular physical is denied at least once"

"I would rather not have insurance then deal with the false sense of hope that United provides. Takes forever to get through to a person, and often times you are sent through a maze, with them hanging up on you in the end. Coverage is next to nothing, operators are rude, no hospital or clinic wants to do business with them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH UNITED."

"United Healthcare seeks ways NOT to pay for services rendered by providers. My retirement has paid them almost $2000 to date for premiums. Yet, they have paid out a total (to date) of $287.66 for my medication (which includes two hi bld pressure medications and many medications for cataract surgeries, glaucoma and macular degeneration). INSURANCE COMPANIES NEED TO BE REIGNED IN IN AMERICA. It is a shame that people are treated this way in this country."
