"BCBS of Minnesota stated to the ortho office we had been sent a check for $6,000. They called us a week later and said they made an error in accounting, the charges were excessive and or primary carrier paid too much. I am suing them for defamation of character. The ortho office now thinks we have the check which was never sent. Other mis or withheld information by BCBS has cost us a total of nearly $10,000, including their clouded dental plan. They do inform on friday , late so you wait the weekend with a problem, have a dispute representative who has no rules to go by and is paid by them, thus the legal route. The legal system is our source of justice when it comes to corporate greed. " 2008-01-12 11:40:47 EST
"I have a long term care policy and the premiums went up over 36%. No need for this. Will go to another company no matter the cost." 2008-06-11 18:52:42 EST
"had a doctor exam on 4/23/08 and it took until August 28th to have the bill taken care of. Originally they said that the doctor was out of network, which he wasn't, he was in network and because of a cerical error and the appeal process, it took me numerous hours and phone calls to take care of this. Customer Service is vvvvvery poorrr." 2008-08-27 06:52:08 EST
"Excellent personal customer service. Provider had made mistakes and BCBSMN worked through getting them fixed. Overall excellent company to work with." 2008-12-31 10:42:18 EST
"Refused to pay claims on death of husband who was fully covered and paid premiums - refused all claims without any justification and there is no where to go to dispute this corporate greed giant" 2008-12-26 10:45:08 EST
"Of the dozen or so employer-sponsored health insurers I've had, none has come close to matching the incompetence I've experienced with BC/BS of Minnesota.
BC/BS is the he carrier of a self-insured plan through my wife's employer and they have made serious errors with all of my claims filed with them.
To my chagrin, after giving my primary health carriers' information to them on at least three occasions, they consistently paid in error as primary insurer.
This is NOT an company to choose as administrator of a self-insured plan." 2009-01-31 01:36:31 EST
"they have always been helpful to us and quick to pay claims, when you call with questions they seem to go the extra mile to find the answer." 2009-09-01 22:10:11 EST |
