Customer Comments about Mega Life and Health Ins.

"Terrible communication. They just issued new cards....minus eye care info. When I called the customer service people had to find out themselves that a separate eye care cardwas to be mailed. There was no mention of this in MEGAs cover letter. Whats the point of having another card toput in ones wallet"

"Be careful when switching to this company. They start you out with a great rate and then once they have you - they start increasing the premium. A minimum coverage health policy for my daughter and myself started out at 265/month. Three years later we are now being charged 690/month for the identical coverage and same policy."

"Generally speaking they deny everything you claim and then after you fight back they begin to pay what they owe. If you fight long enough they generally pay everything but not without a long time consuming fight. "

"I have had a policy for over 20 years with a return of premium rider. I cancelled my Policy on August 8 2011 and they have refused to return my premiums as of this writing. I have filed complaints with the PA Insurance Commission and the TX Insurance Commission and am preparing a complaint to the US Attorneys Office. I should not have to wait 90 days or more to get my money since I have never made a claim nor will I since I am on Medicare for the past 3 years. I am seeking an attorney to file a class action suit against the company if the check isnt in the mail. PA Law may allow me to sue for triple damages. This is being checked into."
