"This insurance company is a big scam. I had a valid claim that they denied and would not give me the opportunity to appeal the decision. They were clearly liable in this instance but refused payment. Very difficult to deal with."

"I am covered by State Farm. I was hit by another car which was covered by CNA. The other party was 100% responsible for the accident. I told CNA about it soon after the accident happened. But they processed my claim slowly. Although they accepted to provide me a rental car, they only covered it for two weeks. When I asked them to extend the rental car, they only accepted to cover it for two more days. But at that time, I still did not get my check. This was very inconvenient for me. I was lucky because I was going out of country for a vacation. But what if I had to stay here? I don't wanna think about it. Later, I learned that good insurance companies are paying for the rental car even after you get your check for about two to three days more so that you have enought time to go and purchase a new car. Stay out of CNA don't do any bussiness with them. "

"After our car accident we found CNA fast with a claim check and sympathetic to our needs. We had a rental car for the entire time our car was being repaired. The Claims people were great! I'm glad I switched to them."

" CNA changes rates and is very inefficiently run. We get different quotes every year, without an explanation of the changes."

"The long term care policy is a complete scam. Put your premium money into the bank and you will be far better off. CNA is currently over 2 months behind in reimbersements for my Faters long term care...they are completly incompentent, and thats a compliment, otherwise they would be pur con men"

"Long term care insurance for husband who was in LTC facilities for 22 months (ended in 2006). Absolutely no problems with claims. It took a LONG time to receive the FIRST payment as CNA had to obtain and review his medical records from the hospital and two nursing homes. Subsequent reimbursements were paid within 2 - 3 weeks after submission of claims. 100% satisfied with CNA. I also have LTC insurance with this firm."

"I went with this company for less than 1 month, before finding out they were charging about double the price that Nationwide Ins. would charge. After canceling them, they are trying to charge a ridiculous amount of money for the short time I was with them. Beware. Go with a nationally known company. NOT CNA"

"CNA is dedicated to slowing down and stopping any and every claim for long term disability insurance. They will bury you with every conceivable paperwork reduntant paperwork and worthless forms and B.S. with caprecious and arbritrary deadlines designed to stop and hinder a payout."
