"Run away from this company. They deny almost every claim. They never approve any test that needs pre-authorization. Their service representatives are clueless. My doctor ordered a MRI that they said wasn't medically necessary. They think they know more than the docors. They are making it impossible for doctors to do their jobs. People are going to die because they aren't going to get the care that they need because this company won't pay for your care. RUN"

"Our company Cigna for health insurance two years ago. FSA accounts They provide a charge card for FSA expenses. Do not be fooled. This is a joke Not only do you have to submit a paper claim anyway they cut off your FSA account if they cannot keep them straight. It is sad that Cigna is so disorganized and confused that many of my coworkers who qualify for an FSA have given it up since they took over. I will be next. They cannot handle more than one FSA expense at a time even if only for 5.00. Even the most clearly validated expense must be submitted individually or they cannot figure it out. They inundate you with reams of useless mail their website is chaotic and confusing and their customer service is appalling. If I ask three Cigna agents the same question about coverage I get three different and conflicting answers As for medical expenses One week they cover an expense. The next week they do not cover the same expense. You never know what is covered. If you ask them they tell you to go ahead and get the treatment and then they will give you an answer One young teen who lost her leg was told her prosthetic would be covered. After she was fitted and wearing it for a month they denied coverage retroactively. Cigna is the worst mess I have ever had the extreme displeasure to deal with. "
