"I had this policy for almost 8 years and cancelled because I found a better rate with a better-rated company. I cancelled and was sent a bill for $1. I didn't know why I was charged $1 and didn't pay it right away. It turns out that the actual amount owed was $123 and the bill didn't reflect that. The company immediately sent me to collections when I didn't pay the dollar. No contact, no warning. I had never missed a payment or been late. I had never made a claim. After one month of not paying the $123 bill, that I didn't know I owed, I had bill collectors breathing down my neck. We were set up on automatic payment withdrawl and the agent was unable to adequately explain why we owed a full month's payment after cancelling the policy. He just gave me a run-around about the equity account and the owed premium being behind. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Go with a company you have actually heard of before. I'm just glad I never had to find out what they would do with their claims process."

"The Agent did not supply all information to me prior to me cancelling the policy regarding the cancellation fees and other hidden fees when I contacted the company prior to cancelling my policy.Once I cancelled my policy I was sent one (1) notice, which I misplaced, next thing you know I was sent to a collection agency. If you are a current customer you would have gotten a 2nd reminder notice of fees due. But when no longer a customer you do not get a 2nd notice, they dicriminate in the way they treat existing customers vs non-customers, but stll charge the installation fee as if you were an existing customer.
