"Take long time to finalized the claim."

"After submitting a claim for an accidental stove top fire, we have experienced a long waiting period towards a final resolution. During the claim process, First American notified us that their view of our incident was not an accident and due to negligence. Although they are continuing to process our claim, they have indicated that our policy will not be renewed next year and we are to find another insurance company. Our view is that although the fire should have been avoidable we would have understood a premium cost increase instead of a cancelation. It did not make sense. We are still waiting for resolution on our claim since 9/22/08 submission date. The claims representative was very helpful and provided good customer service."

"Blood suckers for the home owners. Long delay customer service nothing as compared to thier VERY SUBSTANDARD contractors. Most of time they messup the system more than it was."
