"Last year my policy came up for renewal on 2/17. I paid for the entire year on 2/24...which was within my 15 day grace period. In June I received a "proof of insurance" request from the DMV. I complied and requested Markel notify them of my insurance also.They said they did. In February of this year it was time to pay the yearly policy again...which I did in full. I also got my registration renewal for my Harley...IT WAS SUSPENDED FOR "NO INSURANCE". Markel reported me as having no insurance and cost me $500 in fines with the DMV. I am dumping them and going back to Farmer's!!! Watch out for this company...you are just a number to them and nothing more!"
