Complaint 0 of 0 in "Policy Lapsed"
Mother died on October 25, 2006; she was terminated on Oct. 3, 2006. The company said that they offered to continue the policy. The company would not tell me when the grace period was over. They just told us that we were not entitled to anything. What about the grace period? I have too many unanswered questions. Help!

First my condolences on your loss. It would be essential to read the policy and manuals covering the insurance to determine how long, if any time, someone is covered after separation, and it often depends on the circumstances of separation. I would NOT trust anyone else to do that for me but I would start reading the employee benefit booklet, the termination letter, etc.
