"We had fire in a rental home and after multiple calls they sent an adjuster after 6 days. Very poor customer service. We will go with Farmers next."

"Insurance rep was very young and inexperienced. Most work was passed on to another person delaying the process. Way too long to process claim. Antiquated system."

"My house was broken into when my family and I were away in summer of 2012. We filed a claim. The police came we also have the burglarers on video. We have proof of the event Yet fidelity has been given us the run around. We submitted everything they asked for. They we even had to go thru a cross examination Are they joking My family and I are victims We are not criminals This company is heartless and has no business to even be operating And those who work for them are no better either How can any employee live with themselves knowing what they do and what kind of company they work for.. "

"The worst..stay away Insurance adjusted do not show for appointments at your home when a claim is filed they do not call to reschedule as they promise to do and they do not return phone calls. The coverage is the worst I have ever seen. During hurricane Irene friend and family who have other coverage were well taken care of by thier companies...allstate traveler's nationwide Peerless etc...not so with Fidelity...the bottom of the bottom. Disgusting."

"I was involved in a accident in October 2012. I filed a claim for dissability benefits information was received November 2012. They are prolonging process by requesting medical records. Medical records have been in there office for over 3 weeks. It is still currently in case review. This company will have you in the chow line. The coverage was cheap and the service is horrible. I was told they have one rep reviewing all claims. What kind of fortune 500 company has one rep to review the thousands of claims recieved? This is sad id you have fidelity leave before you need your benifits. "

"I was assigned a claims adjuster who was dishonest. He kept citing parts of the Il Condo Act and repeatedly told me that my policy did not cover damage to my condo caused by my upstairs neighbor. I was very clear about where the damage came from how it originated etc. When I appealed to my State Department of Insurance regulation he continued to misrepresent what transpired between us. He told me to explain to my condo insurance carrier the gibberish he was explaining to me. The damage that occurred was within my four walls meaning that the condo association policy would not cover it. He keeps referring to a closet in my home as a common area. I am frustrated that I must waste my time doing the ob of someone else."

"The worst company to take Home insurance thru GEICO. If you go thru them you will be spending money unnecessarily. Never never take that insurance. I never had a claim but most unsatisfactory company"

"They underestimate the cost of the claim and then when you show estimates of the actual cost they tell you that they will send you a check after the work is done and they see a copy of the final contract. Not too many contractors and homeowners can afford to wait for Fidelity to cough up the money."

"we are first time homeowners and we called to see if we can do a claim on a pool motor they said yes knowing they didnt cover it let alone that we had a 2500 deductible and a motor is 350. then when an adjuster came he was honest and told us the facts so we cancelled the claim and they cancelled us. plus the rates automatically go up and up. they like to cancel people based on their ignorance instead of guiding us and giving us the low down on how it works. they are terrible never again."

"We filed a claim to replace our hail damaged roof in May. The adjustor approved it but the guy behind the desk said only the portion over the garage needed to be replaced. Three hailstorms the same summer later we filed another claim for our roof. The adjustor approved it again. A month and a half later we found out it had cleared level one at Fidelity to be approved but had to go upstairs for final approval. The guy upstairs said an engineer would need to come take a look at our roof before it could be approved. Its now mid October - we still dont have an answer and its not looking good. Paying for insurance with this company is merely paying for piece of mind because they will exercise every loop hole they can find to not pay."

"If you value your time money and health do not use fidelity health. They are ripoffs. They take your premium every month and never deliver. They didnt even pay my primary care scheduled office visit which is stated as a benefit. Its been 3 months and no response from fidelity. CROOKS"

"Had insurance with them for about a year and a half then they decide to pull my credit report and claim I have not had accounts a established long enough. my insurance went up 30 dollars a month. I dont know whose report they were looking at my credit is fine just a sorry excuse to raise the monthly premium."

"We were victims of the May 222011 JoplinMo tornado. I filed a claim on May 232011. As of yet I have only received 20 of my policy amount. I received this 1 1/2 weeks after the claim was filed. I sent in itemized statements that were sworn under oath and notorized that everything I had listed was true. Now Fidelity wants me to do their leg work to produce reciepts for them. I have none. It was a F5 tornado What dont they understand Will be turning them into the insurance commisioner today. I Got this policy through Geico Ins. and I will be pulling my policys from them as well. I do not recomend this company to anyone"

"We put in a claim 8 years ago for hail damage to our roof. We were told our roof was better quality than all the others on the street and did not show damage. All other homes on our street received a new roof. We were told just to submit a claim when another hail storm hit and it would most likely be replaced then. So we did just that, 8 years later and now they tell us that it is old and in need of replacement and they will not even cover our home unless we replace it in the next 6 months. They now say the roof was inferior quality and was never correctly constructed. When we mentioned all teh other homes 8 years ago, they said the homeowners received new roofs that were not needed. It took the adjuster over a week to even inspect it. Then an engineer came out and gave a more serious report than teh adjuster. Several homes in our neighborhood received new roofs after this storm. The roofers told me it just depends on teh insurance company and Fidelity is NOT the one you need!!"

"They have their clients under a microscope and make multiple visits to the clients home and make you feel as if you are not taking care of your home regardless of how well you do."

"I had an accident where someone hit my can during the night and then ran without leaving a note and after filing a report with the police the people at fidelity were very understanding, polite, helpful and did everything to get my car in the repair shop get me a rental. I there was a problem they helped quickly and I am more than pleased with this company in a time when customer service is declining it is GREAT to see a company like Fidelity. "

"Fidelity never responded to the repair shop and let me over 6 weeks waiting. I find out that my car was not repair due to not organized fidelity insurance.(Fidelity never answered the shop repair, The shop repair has tried severals time to contact via faxes Fidelity. No responses . I was being told from the district manager that the extention of rental car would be on fidelity responsibility. Finally after many stress (6 weeks) to replace light and hood as well others insignificants items,I find out that the rental car extention was not taking care of.. Of course the claim adjuster lost papers and I was give the fault. Which I will argue. Never the less, I have tried to contact Fidelity manager as well the repair shop NO responses. I would definitly not recommand this insurance. I have 2 witnessess who will in case of a dispute acknowledge the poor job as well the promise to me to receive at no cost the car rental . As well give to my lawyer the necessary proof or fidelity poor services. I do not recommand this insurance at all, If you do, pray Good nothing will happen to you. IF something happened you may faced stress and argues. Also our home coverage increased around $300 without any explanation."

"When I first started with Fidelity 3 years ago, the price could not be beat. This past year, the rates have gone out of sight. Never had any claims for home or auto. Time to look for another insurance company. Down and out in Texas."

"I just got my auto policy with Fidelity in Jan. I am a very good driver and have not had an accident for almost 20 years. Unfortunately I totaled my new car shortly after buying and Fidelity had me taken care of completely in less then a week. They were very prompt and polite. I would recommend them to anyone looking for insurance."

"Took 6 weeks to complete claim with multiple call backs. This is a very unorgonized company. Very unprofessional claims examiners and when asked directly if they would save a buck or to over the health of my family their answer was "YES""

"I know my problem is more with my broker, but Fidelity has also been less than helpful. I am a professional photographer and asked when I bought my policy if my camera equipment was covered. I was told by my broker, "yes, it is covered under both cameras and business property." Here I am several months later and I call Fidelity to see about increasing my coverage and was told I am currently not covered, and the Fidelity will not cover my equipment. My broker has been checking into this for two days now and has not responded. I am not a happy camper and will be moving my policy this week. "
