"Endless faxing of invoices, care notes, etc and they never seen to receive them. Call speak to someone in customer service, but never a care manager or any person of authority. Frustrating to deal with them. Have paid premiums since 2002 and now need the policy to be honored."

"This company wrote the policy where under no circumstances they would ever pay on this Long Term Care plan. I tried over a year and received nothing but request for additional proof that my husband needed them to pay. He was home on hospices from Kaiser Hospital. One of the pieces of information they requested was a copy of Kaisers' license. They requested hundreds of pages of records from Kaiser including all of the nursing notes. Then they started requesting all of the nursing notes from my private caregivers including copies of their license. Each time you sent them information they say they needed, they came up with something else. Now they continue to harass me by sending me letters in the mail requesting information. I have ask them twice to keep all of their junk mail but I sill receive it from them."

"CONTACT YOUR STATE INSURANCE COMMISSION After months and months and months of delay, delay, delay, I contacted NCDOI. This finally got the ball rolling to get Mom's long-term-care reimbursements All Allianz wants to do is rip-off the elderly I would always receive a different response, and they even cancelled the claim All the while, I was calling 1-2 times per week. Their procedures should be illegal"

"We paid monthly for ten yrs for this long term care and then when my husband got sick they were hard to work with. They always said they didnt receive invoices from our care giver company. But they sent it over and over."

"Have had a long-term care policy since 1994. Husband entered a nursing home 6 months ago. Notified Allianz within first month as we have a 90 day elimination period. To date no action has been taken from this company, just delay, delay, delay. Any help as to what I should do next other than consulting my attorney would be helpful."

"My father had Long term care policy. When he went to an assisted living facility Allianz was easy to work with and paid a portion of his expenses just as promised in the policy. They always returned my calls. He also had a ltc policy with Bankers life. They were very difficult1 to work with on claims and ended up paying nothing."

"Allianz no longer underwrites term care - I have been a policy holder for 14 years. Had a 20% increase in 2014 and recently notified of a 45% increase for 2018...regret the decision to enroll...class action anyone"

"This company is a company that you can not deal with over the phone, mail, email nothing. This has been going on for 3 months of no payments to the care center my dad moved to. This is now going to the attorneys. They can deal with them."

"Tried to make a claim for Long Term Care for my husband. This company is horrible You must talk to a different person every time you call. They say they mailed forms or paperwork, but didn't. Our medical providers have replied multiple time. My husband died, so now they're off the hook. I, too have a policy and am cancelling."

"They delay and delay by telling you they have everything they need and suddenly they need one more thing. This is over three months off providing information. They do not return phone calls and you can forget ever reaching them direct. They make promises they do not keep. Getting a lawyer. Luckily, they no longer off LTC policies. Their Closed down their sales a in 2012 their claims were turned over to Univita which I understand has now filed for bankruptcy. Have no idea who administers their claims now and the reps say they do not know. Anyone have any info"

"Allianz has stopped selling Long Term care insurance. You will need an attorney to help file your LTC claim. I have spent hours refilling out forms and faxing and mailing information. Every time I send one thing in, suddenly something else is required. Every doctor has also been required to send form after form. They excel at NOT paying what is due once their criteria has been met."

"Terms of annuity contract were not in any way as stated by representative at time of sale. The attitude of company service agents is reprehensible. I do not know why this company is even allowed to be in business. It would be of great service to the public to issue a fraud alert regarding Allianz. A search of their satisfaction index and legal issues could only further affirm this assertion."

"I have had a Long Term Care policy with Allianz for around 10 years. Was just informed that premium will go up by 75% approved by Texas TDI. If I opt out now I will be given a paid up policy with a limit to benefits equal to premiums paid even though the present value of such a benefit is tiny. No other company has asked for an increase anywhere near this. Increases average 10%. "

"No matter what you send them it's not enough.They will delay delay delay payment of your claim using excuse after excuse that something is left unverified so as to not pay the claim. I'm over 90 days now and still they are not paying my claim."

"We gave two LTC policies with Allianz and until the outsourced the claim processing to Univita I would have rated them 1. Once Univita started processing there are often excuses on why the claim takes so long to process and I'm talking 4/5 weeks. When you are trying to pay caregivers that is a very long time. With Allianz it was never later than 3 weeks. When you call to find out the reason for the delay you get the run around and never an answer. I would not recommend them only because of the delays."

"Allianz will ILLEGALLY deny you your claim I came home from a trip to take care of an immediate family member who was suddenly diagnosed with cancer. I HAD 2 DIFFERENT PHYSICIANS FORMS DOCUMENTING THAT IT WAS NOT A PREEXISTING CONDITION and they still denied the claim saying that think it was a preexisting condition They say whatever they want and make you fill out all of these forms over months and harass your own doctors and then when the TRUTH is documented by physicians they IGNORE itIm in the process of filing with the Better Business Bureau and getting a lawyer."

"Allianz takes at least 4 weeks to process even a minimum claim. I am surprised that they sell themselves as #1 in Europe and #2 in the world!! definately not!!!"

"My husband and I took out whole life insurance policies 21 years ago. My policy will soon expire because Allianz has used up all of my cash value for insurance expenses. I was not even notified that this was happening and now I must start all over again at age 47!"

"Allianz has provided tremendous Indexed Annuities for me over the past 5+ years with great returns and guarantees. They have met all my expectations and been very responsive. My deceased husband began our relationship with an Allianz agent and I couldn't be happier with what they have done for me."

"We have annuities with Allianz. We get different information each time we call. They never call back when they say they will. This group seems like they don't care at all about their customers, only their customer's money."
