"I have had a policy with Globe for over four years and added additional coverage in April of 2015. My son passed in August of 2015 and I have been trying to get payment since then, which is December 2015. They have failed to mail the original four year funds to my current address, supposedly mistatedly sending the funds to an old address. They then claimed that they stopped payment in the original check and was reissuing a corrected check which has taken three weeks to do. I have yet to receive a check, so I filed a claim with the Illinois Department of Insurance. Globe now refuses to give me any status report on the issuing of the check because I filed the claim. Do not do business with them, because they only want your money. They have an 83% dissatisfaction rating and should not be allowed to sell insurance in any state. I hope the Department of Insurance will be able to assist me in obtaining the funds that I am due."

"The staff is very rude that is if you can finally talk to someone after waiting for an hour. They will not pay the claims Nothing but a run around Stay away from this company"

"After being assured that I could do a cash surrender on my life insurance account of 9 years I was denied when I attempted to request payment - - - - because they showed a recent change of address on my account that flagged a concern. I had not had a change of address in more than six years. "

"My mother died in november of 2011 and here it is july 2012 they keep giving me the run around and do not want to pay out the claim of 10000. I will not deal with this company again. A few of my family members and friends are with global insurance company and they are planning to cancel their policy with this company they are a fraud and something needs to be doon we all need to report this company so they would no longer do this to any other person. Its not fair for anyone to have to go through this when their already greaving."

"My father died january 2012 of natural causesthey keep requesting medical records. Our family doctor has sent them 3 times. He has had the same doctor for years. My father only had the policy for 3 months but when he purchased the policy it was suppose to be a GUARANTEE policy. I will never see a dime. He thought he could trust them. "

"My wife died 19 months into policy from cancer. She was diagnosed around nov 2010 and died july 2011. I could not bury her had to cremate her due to globe denial of payment. I had to send in years worth of health records and even though the policy was 20000 i got a check on January 12 2012 6 months later for 10000. Here to find out they are saying that my wifes birthday was incorrect on policy even though 1. We never received the policy and when we called we received a certificate with the policy information not the actual policy 2 we called them 4 times to inform them that the birthdate was incorrect we were told it would be corrected.My wife pass and they give me 10000 dollars. This company is a rip off i would not do business with it My sister inlaw in fact has the same problem.. how convenient her bdate is incorrectly listed on the policy"

"Globe insurance in a perfect example of how not to run a company. I am an existing customer and so far it has taken me 6 days to get a binder from them. At this point our customer is looking to cancel because of the delay. As a result we are going to need to start shopping around for another insurance company that can keep up with todays business climate. I feel like whatever we pay is a waste and I would reccomend to anyone considering there service to shop elsewhere. "

"Customer Service is not very timely at all, lots of "red tape". No Saturday customer service available, just standard business online."

"This company is a complete rip off. we had a life insurance policy on ou son fo over 14 years. my son passed away and we are getting the run around from this ompany. every call we make a differet agent tells us something different. they 1st said one of the rider policy was ontestable, now they are saying another is contestable, even though it meets thier requirements of being adeed over 2 years ago. now they are saying we added it in no. when we actually added it in feb. asking us to send them this info as prof, what they have no records. they are crooked crooks stay away. this stuff is the last thing you want 2 deal with when you are already grieving and morning."

"I have held a life insurance policy on my father with Globe for over 15 years. He recently passed away and its been over 8 weeks and it is still pending. They just informed me that they need the death certfiicate which was sent via certified mail back in April along with all the information needed to process the claim. This company is great at taking your money however not very good on wanting to give it back. I would not recommend Globe to my worst enemy. Families who depend on this money to come in to cover costs should get ready to be let down."

"Numerous phone calls day in and day out to this company when NO ONE knows what's going on. They tell you they never rec'd paperwork when in all reality they did. Everytime you call you talk to someone you get someone different who tells you something totally opposite of what the first person did. Will do anything and everything they can do to delay in paying a $10000 claim!!! Their sister company (whom they'll tell you they dont who they are) AI Insurance tells me they are known for delaying on claims and can and will take over a YEAR to pay!! VERY SADDENED to think my mom trusted these people with her life and they have been giving me NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! IF MY CLAIM DOES NOT GET PAID I WILL BECOME THEIR WORST NIGHTMARE!!!! My mother passed of natural reason why a $10000 claim should NOT be paid!"

"Their customer service are not licensed agents and do not know about the products or what constitutes term, whole, modified whole life insurance. They send out tempting invitations about how your premium will always stay the same no matter what your age. Whatever you age you come in at that is the premium you pay till death. They do not tell you how it will increase at age 26 till after you receive the policy if you receive the policy. I couldn't receive needed information from them, after many phone calls I finally filed a complaint with my state's commissioner of insurance. Keep a record of who you talk to and all information you are sent if you should get lucky and they send it."

"This company has no mechanism in place to acknowledge receipt of your application for insurance (ADD). Customer Service may or may not give you the number for underwriting, but underwriting will tell you they have no way of knowing whether or not your application was received. Should you tell them within several days of application that you find this unacceptable, they will tell you that you are free to cancel the policy once you receive it. This is, I'm sure, of little comfort to one who has suffered the accidental death of a loved one in the meantime--in which case, according to their customer service dept., the claim need not be paid, as the premium was never deducted from the acct. you named with the application. It is pathetic that a company with whom you trust your life (quite literally) cannot tell you whether or not they have even received your application. I have made seven phone calls to this company with absolutely no satisfaction. Ask yourself--if can acknowledge your order within three to five minutes, what is the problem with an insurance company, in posession of your email address, sending merely AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT that they have received your application? In response to the question "Is there a single person in your company who knows whether or not the application was received?" the customer service response (seven times) was NO."

"Terrible customer service, nobody knows what is going on. Nobody returns emails at all, and only on peson who said they would return my call ever did. I am going on over a month now getting a refund on a premium that was not supposed to be debited in the first place. I cancelled my policies and would not recommend them at all."
