"Simply the worst most unethical people throughout the claims process--from the adjuster to claims management. We are retaining counsel to address the continual and intentional misrepresentations and costly errors. Intentionally changing/ reducing scope and ignoring actual costs vs. low ball allowances. Am shocked that a company actually purchased this business. They clearly did not do their due diligence. Shameful for even insurance company standards."

"This company was completely unwilling to work with us on a new property that we recently purchased. After issuing us a policy they conducted a home inspection where it was clear that the inspector had very little knowledge of construction and building codes. They issued us a cancellation without giving a chance to address any of their concerns. We were devastated. I would not recommend MiddleOak to anyone."

"This is by far the best insurance company I have EVER been with. Fast fair claims service. Very good coverage. I see some other reviews that weren't so flattering and I have no idea how it could be the same company. I think they're awesome and I know others who feel the same."

"The people at Middleoak were very uhelpful when I filed a claim. I had been with them for moew than 5 years when a storm damaged my business. Although that type of damage WAS covered in the policy they drew many loop-dee-loops as to why it would not be covered. The adjusters was rude and curt and I am simply floored by what measures they went through as to not pay us our COVERED damage A month later they canceled our policy due to the condition of our building that was caused by the damage that they refused to cover Wrap your head around that one. I have since found a new company that is half the price and much better coverege. What a blessing it is to be rid of that theiving poorly managed Middleoak"

"In May 2011 a fire caused my condo to be inhabitable. MiddleOak is the insurance company that insures my condo association. It is now Feb 2012 and the claim is still not resolved. My condo association had to hire an attorney to deal with MiddleOak. Also I had to file a complaint with the insurance company. My recommendation to you1 Do not select them to insure you.2 If you do select them and you have a claim file a complaint with the insurance commissioner immediately and do not believe anything MiddleOak says. "

"THey are completely non-transparent unwilling to share information about the claim with policyholder as it progresses. Only looking after their own bottom line. Pathetic service."

"I have been price gouged by this company for several thousand dollars. Their rates are obscene compared to other insurance companies.5 Years with these crooks never had a claim and they raise my premium by thousands. Not over yet I want my money back for the over-chargesI hope these crooks go out of business. I am livid"

"Claims service was quick and easy - they even paid for some carpet that was not supoosed to be covered. I would reccomend to anyone."

" Adjuster was beyond belief in level of misleading remarks, deceptive actions, manipulation of factors, misinterpretation of policy, and denial of payments. Adjuster ignored policy which states that there would be replacement when there was no way to repair the damage. Adjuster told homeowner to take hotel for temporary housing and denied any payments for over 6 months. Adjuster refused any payment re-embursement for hotel."

"Expensive policies and raises rates over the years. I am surprised that I stayed with them as long as I did but I am definitely changing this year."

"Impossible to even get an adjuster to visit my home -- only conducted a brief interview (less than two minutes) via phone. This company takes "Bad Faith" to a new level."
