"this company was horrible - emphasis on WAS. They were so bad at servicing their policy holders that they went out of business!! Nobody would renew with them!"

"for instsallment billing, they never send them on time, only a week prior to cancelling the policy. One can never get through to the customer center at any given time. Poor service/quality. Never received last invoice only cancellation notice 4mos later. No letters or warnings. I see why they are folding."

"Their adjuster company (Keystone Adjusters) has got to be the worst in the nation!!! No customer service what so ever, the lack of answering phones, returning voice messages. Leadership in this company needs a wake up call. I would not recommend this company to anyone."

"If an agent recommends Northern Capital, run as fast as you can in the other direction! Had to go to the state to get reimbursed for being overcharged on the premium. Filed a claim that kept getting lost! Had one of their appraisers come out 3 times to actually get the claim correct. Guess what? Almost 2 years later and still not resolved. Do Not Use Northern capital."

"I recommend using almost any other insurance company to insure your home. Even if it cost a bit more in premium. You get what you paid for. My suggestion is to consider hiring a qualified Public Insurance Adjuster who is a member of FAPIA (Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters). Good luck."

"Unreliable, First the information they give to the adjuster to give me an estimate was incorrect it took over 2 weeks for me to keep calling to see what the delay was. Then when they came the adjusters did the report and submitted and ended up getting lost another 3 weeks. Finally the estimate the provide was peanuts of what the actual damage was. What a rip-off. This company has one of the HIGHEST COMPLAINTS addressed in the State of Florida. (Look it up yourself)Dept of Insurance. Not Reliable sorry. I really did not want to write this but I am very unsatisfied with the service."

"Promises the check for a claim is in the mail! Still waiting 4 months later for the check!!! Very unprofessional......"

"Policy had the wrong year for my house. It was only off by a year, but it was like I had to go thru hoops for them to change it (they never did). It may have been due to my agent (as you have to go thru and agent) and you do not have direct contact with the company. I prefer direct contact -- so I just switched to Peoples Trust (FL.only). Plus, my rate went down over $600.00. "

"Very difficult to get in contact with. Mailing systems doesn't work properly. Communications are nor received on time. No information available for the clients in their website."
