"They will cancel your policy after paying any minor claim. Great company when there is no need to pay a claim"

"They send in a "water mitigation" company of there choice. The first thing they said was "we need the deductible today" then was charged deductible again. Adjuster NEVER returned calls when they did were very patronizing and rude. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL company I have ever dealt with. I thought we had protection at the state level against companies like this?"

"AVOID this company they will not give you any service and do whatever they can to avoid paying a claim. This company is even embarrassing to other insurance companys when they hear about the way they try to rip off customers."

"My car has been down for 1month to the date and one adjuster got re-assighned and another adjuster got assighned and then going to be calling the ohio insurance commisioners office tomorow to file a complaint. These people are verry rude and give a full line of bs when you call them. The only thing they know how to do is give the run-around."

"I have been in business for 15 years and had liability and truck insurance with them. Never had a claim in 15 years and know when I needed them they gave me some B.S. that I wasnt covered for my claim. Gee what a shocker."

"Rude and confused claims dept. Very slow progress. Perhaps a restructuring of their system to avoid redundancy and courtesy training to promote a professional approach to dealing with claimants questions. Make condescending responses a reason for dismissal. Train them to listen more carefully. "

"The people who work for this company are extremely rude! I have made numerous calls to this company in regards to an auto claim and they NEVER call back you have to keep calling til you get someone. They act as though you are an inconvenience to them, when its their job to help you!!!! I would definetly NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone!"

"They tell you that you have insurance that will cover everything that you need but when something happens they do not cover and end up being extremely rude and unprofessional. They never even send an adjuster to look at your claim!"

"Filed an auto claim with Ohio Casualty. They do not communicate to let you know what you need to do. Calls to them go unanswered and unreturned. They do not provide any information unless you ask the direct question, and even then, they cannot give you a clear and direct answer. They seem not to know their processes. They are denying payment on a rental car I needed while my car was being repaired (why, I do not know; they gave me authorization to get the car in the first place, and they are the ones who set up the reservation!). They can never find my policy or numbers when I call for help. Will be switching to another auto insurance company as soon as my issues with them are resolved!!! Employees at Ohio Casualty are very mucn in need of customer service skills, which they severely lack! They are often rude if you can get them on the phone! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! >("

"My auto antenna was broken off by a faulty car wash. Ohio Casualty flatly refused to pay for or replace it. Heaven forbid I would ever have a serious claim. I will never do business with this company again. You really never know how good your Insurance company is until you make a claim. Be forewarned! "

"They are slow to contact the customer. The adjuster is dishonest and unfair. I am being ripped off on my dedutible because I told the truth. He is charging me the higher collision deductible for damage from an object that fell from the undercarriage of a truck. There is more I could say, but in whole, this is the worst experience I have ever had with an insurance company"

" adjuster gets some fly by night company to make up his bid on your damages very slow on acting on your claim offers you a figure for your claim that insulting the government should step in and check up on this company run as fast as you can away from this company do yourself a favor pay a little more and get a good insurance company "
