"No matter what kind of policy you have as soon as you need to file a claim they will give you the run around make you do all their work blatantly lie in official communications and try to find any possibility not to cover you. They are not even willing to cover you and subrogate on your behalf. Do not trust any positive review about this company."

"RUN LIKE HELL I had a fire and they took 5 months before they gave me papers to sign off on for the reconstruction. Then 7 months before they sent the check. They tell lies and run around in circles so that they can stall paying out a claim. They are not sending the rental payments to the landlady that they found as my temporary housing. The landlady is threatening to put me out with my 85 year old mother and my 2 sons. They are not responding to me my adjuster my insurance agent the landlady nor their temp housing company. Tower Group is horrible. They don't care about their clients. Is there anyone that can help me?"

"I overpaid my homeowners bill. Company is refusing to issue a refund check to me after I provided in excess of 10 pages of documentation that I do own the house. They are thieves. They make you run around with no intention of helping. They never had a problem cashing my check but issuing a refund is an insurmountable problem for them."

"Filed one claim and could never get them on the phone. They didn't call back and get the claim started for two weeks. Had to rent a car at my own expense. They did pay for my car to be fixed but I had to put most of that money towards the cost of the rental that they refused to help with. Were rude and uncooperative. Worst insurance company I've ever dealt with by a mile. AVOID"

"Going through the claims process and can not get through to anyone. Took my husband threatening to hire a lawyer for anyone to call us back. The estimate was extremely low but at this point just lucky to get any money at all."

"I had one small claim . We have been being with this company for many years and they terminated us. The company customer service was very bad."

"the worst company that I have ever dealt with. They have lost my checks 3 times. A problem with them every month. I think they are bunch of crooks. Don't use them."

"We were victim of Sandy.adjuster came out and said damage was there prior to storm and will not pay. Only claim we have ever made"

"This company has worst customer service. Requests submitted on the web was not processed and not returned. Called the customer service and waited like forever before talking to someone. Also got different answers from different representatives regarding cancelling the policy30 days via web vs. written request required vs. need to be done by new insurance company. Totally unprofessional "

"Terrible company. Tried to cancel auto insurance for non payment when payment had been made by bank wire before due date. Had to fight with them everyday for a week to get insurance reinstated all the while I legally could not drive since I did not have insurance. No reason for anyone to use this company with so many insurance options."

"I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy Tower is billing us for nonpayment of our homeowners premium although it was paid by our mortgage company weeks ago and proof of such payment has been submitted to Tower. When I originally asked why the payment was first credited to our account and then deducted from our account Towner could not answer and has yet to asnwer that question. I have been two weeks working on this issue. If their accounting department is that incompetent I worry about their underwriting department. "

"This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They refuse to pay a claim that has been proven over and over again. They should be put out of business."

"They send out notices of cancellation BEFORE the payment is due. As far as customer services is concerned there is noneWorst insurance company I have ever been with. Will change as soon as I can."

"Company ALWAYS sends cancellation notices to mortgage company two to three weeks before policy payment is due. Complained to Allstate agent who carries Tower since Allstate does not insure homes in CA and agent swears Tower is the best deal out there. I do not believe this. If they are this difficult to deal with on a policy they must be horrible with a claim."

"This is the worst company to deal with. I have been with Allstate for 15 years, my Allstate agent switched me to Tower because Allstate did not want to renew Calif policies. I had a theft at my home, 1st claim in 15 years, and Tower has given us nothing but grief and reasons why they cannot pay the claim. It is bad enough that my personal possessions were stolen, but Tower has stolen from me as well by taking my premium and not paying the claim. Please, please stay away from this company unless you really want to fight with someone."

"Avoid this company at all cost. They gave me a low ball offer and then canceled me after 2 months because of a torn screen. Only get a policy with them if you desire problems."

"this insurance company is useless. The adjusters do not respond to their clients, no one answers any questions or helps and they deny your claim without thorough investigations or asking any pertinent questions. They are quick and eager to recieve your money but they will not pay out when neccesary. We will never use them again and caution everyone to stay away. If we have to pay a little more to go to a better insurance company we will because its worth it. We lost our belongings, home, everything, and these people have our money. Thanks for nothing Tower Ins. "

"in mold and fire ruins, had a house fire this company will find a way to deny your claim.it has been 7 months and never provided nothing for my children and family.i am living in a poor enviroment.please dont be another victim of this company.my life is ruined and i have 2 children"
