United Fire & Casual Reviews and Customer Comments

"I had a Business Liability Commercial Auto Insurance Policy with United Fire Casualty. Since I purchased my policy through an independent agent, United Fire Casualty would not provide any customer service. My agent would not respond to emails or phone calls to remove two vehicles from my policy, they also ignored my attempts to cancel all of my policies when I became frustrated with them. Again United Fire Casualty would provide me no help with this issue, but they took my money every month. After many, many calls to United Fire Casualty and threats of legal action, I was finally able to get my policy cancelled after I had already had a Geico policy in place for over a month and had sold two of the vehicles on my policy over two months prior. Even though I was completely current on my payments and should have received a refund, they have sent me to collections for additional premiums. I literally receive a call every day from an insurance collection agency who completely ignores my valid claims. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a business of any kind, much less an insurance company."
