"They will not payout a policy that was issued and paid up over the course of 58 years. It is for a mere 980. Customer service is unresponsive and keeps loosing paperwork both mailed and faxed. Additional information and forms are always requested each time contact has been made with this company. They refuse to payout."

"Used to be a fine company, no problems until recently when they were taken over by another company. Now, nothing but problems. Non payment of legitimate claims, unapproachable service dept, no response to questions. had to file a complaint with the Florida Dept. of Insurance for help. Better off with a different company"

"My husband and I have a medical policy with this company which we have had for8 years. We have no complaints with their claims payment. Our problem is with the billing dept and some of the customer service people. When they switched customer service to India payments were removed twice in one month from our checking account which over drew it. Some how when they returned service to the US things became messed up again.We had to send copies of our checking account to verify all payments had been made. We sent 2 years worth. They still maintain that my policy is one month behind. Last month we switched to paper bills in hopes we could straighten things out. Wrong I received 32 bills for the month of June but none for my husband. I sent payments with separate checks for both with the policy number on the bills and name change. Two days ago I received two more bills for myself for June and one for my husband for July with. A 30.00 rate increase.I called customer service because it had been 16 days and the checks had not cleared the bank. They told me to call back in 10 days. I asked to talk to someone in billing and accounts and was told they have no phones Our premiums have over tripled in 8 years. You ask why we stay We have pre-existing conditions and can get no other medigap plan. We can only switch to an Advantage plan. As a retired RN I know there a big difference in coverage and choice with them and problems if you travel out of state. Would I recommend this company to anyone No,my only hope is that a company that is better organized buys them."

"1.Mismanaged a medicare supplement claim which Medicare payed their portion 80%of and they Transcapitaldidn't for their portion.20% 2. virtually impossible to contact them at their contact number to resolve the issue resulting in getting billed from the doctor for services they are responsible for."
