NLI (Nippon Life) Reviews and Customer Comments

"I am easily pleased and this is, by far, the worst insurance company I have ever had. Copays for medicine for life long health issues are very expensive, they won't approve my insulin nor deny it and allow me to get it from mnfct. because they are trying to force me on to bad brands with bad reviews so I am left paying full price for the one that works for me, customer service gave me bad info to get it multiple times which wasted a lot of my time. This company makes everything difficult."

"This is the worst medical insurance. The ER visits are 150.00, which is not bad, but they bill for everything else. You will have to pay for everthing that is performed in the ER, so your initial visit is 150.00 which just gets you in the door. Horrible insurance, you might as well not even have it."

"Worst company ever. I've been trying to collect on shortlong term disability and first u weeks now I've been getting nothing but the run around. I've had 3 doctor's now properly fill out the paper work nippon requires. All of which have labeled me disabled because of my cancer. For almost 2 months now this company refuses to process my claim for absolutely no reason given. Run as fast as you can from this company or you will get screwed over by them. J yet to read a single positive review about Nippon and I have gone through over 200 reviews."

"Worst insurance company and especially worst customer care"

"THEY ARE THE WORST HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANY ON THE PLANET. THEY SAY THEY DONT NEED Preauthorizations AND THEN DO NOT APPROVE CLAIMS FOR NECESSARY TREATMENT OR PROCEDURES.. Their website says they use Core to administer claims and basically CORE to save money will deny claims, then they look great as a vendor to Nippon because of all the money they save for Nippon. Nippon is their client but we as the insureds are paying the premiums, why arent we getting service for this Why is our medical treatment denied No good reason. Not even when the provider gives a valid reason. They only care about their profits, not about their true customers, the insureds who are the ones actually paying their premiums, their salaries, their rent, their administrative expenses, everything BUT OUR CARE."
