"It's truly amazing how bad this company is. 30 years of my mother paying premiums and now she needs care and we filed a claim .The stalling tactics are astounding They will do anything to avoid paying a claim. They are evil."

"Do not get CNA Insurance and affiliates Loews Hotels, Diamond Offshore, Boardwalk, Consolidated Container Company are sleazebags. I paid lots to CNA Insurance to protect me my business CNA Insurance keep denying coverage. CNA Insurance keep getting my premium payments and all these promises in their policy but in reality it does not work. I just lost my house, got disabled, and filed bankruptcy because CNA Insurance keep prolonging and denying my claim. CNA Insurance DENIED DENIED CNA insurance BAD BAD for your business, JINX OMEN AVOID AVOID CNA Insurance"

"My father has a Long Term Care policy with CNA that he purchased in the 90s. When the time came to use the policy, CNA was very easy to deal with from my experience. They pay promptly every month and have been easy to reach on the phone whenever I've had a question or moved my father to a different care facility. I'm sorry to read all of the trouble that other people have described here...but to be honest...they have never caused me even a moment of grief or given me any problem with payment- providing the required ultra short form is properly filled out each month and submitted as they request by the facility where my father resides."

"Do not deal with this Long Term Health Company. Parents purchased this policy 20 years ago and paid premiums in good faith that they would be able to claim when the time came. Well my mom is 91 and we filed a claim for assisted living. CNA has flat out lied about the claim, puts roadblocks up in every avenue.How can a business this size not get faxes, emails or postal deliveries Tried for two months to get paperwork to them to start claim but gee.....they never got it. Funny though, on one phone call the woman told me that they only received 4 pages of 16 faxed. Seems odd that a business this size would not contact sender that the fax did not come through...right I finally had to send it certified with signature required. I tried to set up direct deposit. Person on phone said just send deposit slip with account numbers written on it. Ok that is what I did. When time came to get the check, they said they had to mail it because they could not accept my written documentation. One check received via mail. Next check....issued 26. Cant direct deposit even though I sent cancelled check from another account as directed. Takes 30 days to set up direct deposit. Said it take 10 days to send via mail, another one told me 14 days. I have no check yet and this is March 1. I asked about re-issuing the check and they said it would be 5 days to reissue and another 10-14 business days to get the check. I need to pay the assisted living bill NOW. Can you say elder robbery This should not be allowed."
